Kill Pen Pull

Lucky Horse traveled to a notorious kill buyer auction to pick up our latest round of rescue horses. It was an incredibly sad day.  A temporary ban was placed on exports to Mexico and Canada, so there were horses being sold for as little as $10. Sadly, most of these went to kill buyers who will stick them on a feedlot until the ban is lifted, then ship them off to slaughter. Lucky Horse went with funding in hand for 4 horses, but came back with 9! They were stuffed into every cranny of the trailer and managed to escape what could have been an awful fate.
