TIA and CURLEY
Velvet has been adopted by Liane K and Shannon has been adopted by Betsy C both of Hopkinton, NH. Velvet has been lovingly named Tia and Shannon has been named Curley, Betsy couldn't help twirling all the curls in Shannon's mane. Liane & Betsy came to look at other foals, but these two quicly won their hearts! They will be raised at Liane's farm with other horses, dogs and cats!!
Liane & Betsy, thank you for the case of baby wipes, they will come in handy with the LHER foals!
PIPER & SOMA
Lisa, Todd, Lizzy and Ryan P of Vermont adopted Lyric and Dylan, now known as Piper and Soma! Lisa and family were down a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with the pair. They visited again earlier this week and knew the foals were for them; the feelings were mutual!
The foals happily walked out of their paddock and onto the trailer for their ride home. They were greeted at the farm with a "Welcome Home" sign! The farm is home to a Golden Retriever- Kovu, Beagle- Jesse, 2 mallard ducks- Skippy and Zippy. The family loves to be outdoors as much as possible. LHER is sad to see the foals go, but happy to see how they quickly became part of the family. We anxiously await to see pictures of them scampering around their paddock!
LHER gratefully acknowledges the Terry Family and Stowe Girl Scout Troop 72501 for their Orphan Angel Donation for Lyric. Thank you Sue T, Karen W, Sam T, Magen C, and Aly S. for sponsoring Lyrics rescue and care for the first month and for naming her!
