Donate Used Items- for the rescue, our reseller squad, and our bi-annual yard sales. Everything helps and LHER welcomes all items from old saddles to farm equipment, to brushes, blankets even coffeemakers and fake Christmas trees! We are looking for donations of riding apparel, tack, furniture, toys, home goods and other items in good condition.
WE ARE desperately IN NEED OF CLIPPERS/TRIMMERS and BRIDLES AND BITS AND GIRTHS!!!!
LHER Cellphone Collection Project Cell phone collection bin is in the lounge at Century Mill Stables. Please consider donating your old phones to Lucky Horse. We will send them to Re-Cellular who will pay Lucky Horse $1 - $10 for each phone. Re-Cellular will erase the data on your donated phone. The phones will either be re-sold as a whole or for parts. Please ask your employer if you can place a bin at your work on behalf of Lucky Horse too!

Stewart of R.I. Horse Weighing. Rhode Island Horse Weighing was contacted to weigh little Jimmy . An accurate weight was necessary for proper administration of his medications. Dr. Loheac stated, "He's an orphan foal from a nurse mare farm who is suffering from malnutrition and an umbilical infection. He's responding great to treatment and is getting stronger and stronger every day."
Chobani Yogurt graciously sent 21 cases of yogurt to LHER. The yogurt is mixed with the nurse mare foals (orphans) formula to aid in their digestive system. Chobani is a yogurt which contains pro-biotics. Pro-biotics are key for humans and animals!!

Donate Funds, Gift Cards and Gift Certificates*
Donate Funds - Please help us, help horses and consider supporting Lucky Horse Equine Rescue with a monetary donation. LHER horses appreciate and depend on your donations of any size. Support from private, group and corporate donors allow us to continue our mission of providing educated and empathetic care to equines in need as well as allocate funds where they are most needed at the time hay, grain, shavings, milk replacer, etc. We gratefully accept donations in any amount by cash, check (payable to LHER, see address below) or credit card (PayPal button).
Donate Gift Cards and Gift Certificates- Gift cards are welcome in any denomination from just about anywhere. A Gift Card for just $5 or $10 to drug stores, grocery stores, and on line stores can make a big difference! For example, we use many, many gallons of store bought water to make foal formula as it safer for their systems than well water. We buy sugar to mix with the Betadine for abscesses, as well as diapers to hold the mixture in place on their hoof, and duct tape to keep it together. Medical supplies like gauze bandages, alcohol, witch hazel, cotton pads, gauze, topical ointment, Betadine, saline, adhesive tape and rubber gloves are also used frequently and in almost constant demand!

Sponsor an Equine- Sponsors not only Angel a horse's first month of care, but provide the emergency bail when rescuing a horse from the kill pen at auction. Such cost can range tremendously on a case by case basis. Angel an Equine. Become a horse or foal angel for the equine of your choice. For as little as a month, or as long as it takes to place the horse into an appropriate home, you can make a major impact in the life of the horse of your choosing. Angel donations provide the financial support required for that horse's daily care and really allows us to give each horse the mental and physical training time they need to prepare for a new home.
