Ready For Adoption
LHER has the ambitious goal of rescuing 15 foals. We expect them to begin arriving any day, in groups of 2 or 3 at a time, until late June. Caring for so many foals will take many hands. Milk replacer (formula) and special feed and care are required for such tiny babies. We are looking for more volunteers for the late winter/spring season. Please Contact Us NOW for information on volunteer training programs to have you ready for the arrival of the foals. We would also be happy to pre-screen any potential adopter who may be interested in adopting a 2010 foal. Please visit our Help and Donate Page for other ways you can help.
Please stop by and sign our new LHER baby book to log in your name suggestions for our rescued babies! This book can also be found on the bulletin board in the foal area.
