Please call or email and consider completing an Adoption Application .

TEDDY

Teddie's adoption fee is $1500
Thank you Katherine R of Littleton, MA for fostering Teddy!
BREEZE
Cute, educated and uncomplicated to ride, this 15.3 hand, 19 year old, bay thoroughbred is seeking a new home to call his own. He is regular work both under saddle and on the ground as he has just started working in our natural horsemanship classes.
Breeze knows his job and loves it. He can easily be ridden on the buckle at a walk, trot and canter and he does his flying changes/auto swaps beautifully. He can jump small cross rails all day and would be good for an advanced beginner on up. He would do best with a light rider and would be happy with one lucky owner or in a very small lesson program with lots of individual attention. He is a super star under saddle but does need some additional work on ground manners and does best with confident handlers. He is equally comfortable in the indoor or outdoor ring and can be worked alone or in a group. He loves outside living and would prefer a paddock with a run in shed or a stall with a full access in and out to call home.
Breeze's adoption fee is $2500. Thank you Katherine R of Littleton, MA for fostering Breeeze!
BOBBY
As a child, our hearts were warmed by Marquerite Henrys book, Misty of Chincoteague. Now is your chance to own your very own Chincoteague pony! Bobby is a beautiful 13.2 pinto pony with a medium to heavy build and wonderful feathers on his ankles. He is a very good boy and walks, trots and canters quietly in the ring and on the trail. Bobby can easily carry an adult but would like an experienced rider with quiet hands and quiet habits. He will not spook at things in his environment but will spook if his rider has a flapping jacket, etc. This is a very sweet pony who is looking for the right mom to help him meet his tremendous potential.
Bobby is currently living in a paddock with a run in shed but can comfortably live in an in and out situation or daily turnout with stalled evenings as well.
Donated as a fundraiser for LHER, Bobby's adoption fee is $1800.
MELLO
Mello is a 17 yr old, 15.2 hand chestnut TB gelding. He is blind in his left eye, but that does not hinder him at all! He has a wonderful, laid back personality -hence his name! He has no soundness issues and is a great low level dressage horse as he is a super fancy little mover! He jumps, leg yields and frames better than most horses with both eyes! This former event horse is very athletic and needs an intermediate rider. Mello is not hot and is very educated. He is a star in our natural horsemanship class and a pleasure under saddle. He is currently in work 3 times per week and everyone loves him. He also makes a great companion as he gets along well with other horses. He cannot be an only horse. His owner had him since age three and surrendered him due to life changes. She asked LHER to find him a loving home.
Mello's adoption fee is $1,800.
Thank you to Brenda T., Julie D., Linda G. and Denise for being Mello's Barn Buddies. A special thank you to Linda G. who works with Mello in our Natural Horsemanship classes and Denise for her work with Mello under saddle.
Update: Mello is such a fabulous, highly trained horse that we have decided to enter him in some local shows!

He was donated to LHER to help the rescue raise funds and is available for adoption.Gowin is looking for an educated rider who loves trail riding as much as he does. DARTAINIAN
"Bill", our 17.3 hand gentle giant needs a new career. He is an 11 year old Trakehner Gelding - A $50K M & S Jumper and Equitation horse before being diagnosed with ringbone during a routine shoeing x-ray (not in the joint). He is 100% sound and has no lameness issues but the vet says it is best for him if he discontinues the jumping ring. Bill is an amazing mover with an incredible extension and has excellent dressage training (Grand Prix Level 4). He will go all the way in the dressage ring, is a fun trail horse and loves the beach too. Not for a beginner rider but has no naughty tricks. He has an excellent temperament and can even be ridden bareback with a halter! Dartanian is available for fostering and adoption. Bill is seeking a dressage home with someone who understands the physical and financial needs of a large, athletic horse. Confident, advanced riders only.Bill has been training to get back in shape. Are you looking for your own dressage superstar to take you to the top? Look no further, adopt Dartanian and be the envy of the barn and the arena!

She will be eventually be seeking a special person with lots of time, love and experience however right now, she is desperately Seeking an Angel to help fund her care and training until ready for adoption.
